In The Beginning... was the Blog post.

"In The Beginning...", so many times we read about beginnings in the bible.

Genesis 1:1 ~ In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.
Psalm 111:10 ~ The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom. (says this 4 times throughout the bible).
John 1:1-2 ~ In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning.
1 John 1:3 ~ For this is the message you heard from the beginning: We should love one another.
Revelation 22:13 ~ I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End.

On the start of 2012, on the streets of Edinburgh watching the fireworks, I was with my Girlfriend, Kirsty. It was our first new year together, it was the first of the month, it was the first time I had seen a man cycling a rickshaw wearing a hat that looked like a chicken. This year was going to be a year of firsts. This is my first ever blog post. I'm quite excited to see what God will do this year.

This blog is basically a way of me telling the story of me and God. I frequently fail at "God time", be it Bible reading, prayer or seeing God in creation etc. Hopefully this will motivate me to do these things more, plus I'll be able to notice God more as I'll be reflecting on what's happened each day.
